Designed for small coolant and degreasing tanks, with an oil recovery capacity of 2–30 L/h and an installation height of up to 600 mm.
The demonstration tank is fitted with a FRIESS 1U compact oil skimmer. After 1 L of oil is poured into the tank, the oleophilic collection tube continuously gathers floating oil and conveys it to the scraper mechanism for separation. At the end of the run, the oil has been removed from the liquid surface.

Oil surfaces of up to 1 m² are no problem for the FRIESS 1U oil skimmer. Even when the unit is installed up to 600 mm above the tank surface, the system reliably removes floating oil.

Q2: How much oil can it remove per hour?
