2. Information we process
2.1 Enquiry and contact information
When you submit a contact or product-selection form, we process the information you choose to provide, such as your name, company, email address, telephone number and enquiry details. Please do not submit identity documents, financial-account details, health information or other unnecessary sensitive personal information through our forms.
2.2 Technical and usage data
To secure, troubleshoot and improve the website, the website and its servers may process technical information such as IP address, date and time of access, requested and referring pages, browser and device type, operating system, language, cookie identifiers and error logs.
The website does not currently provide online ordering or online payment. Submitting an enquiry or product-selection request through the website does not constitute an online transaction.

Forms may use hCaptcha to determine whether an interaction is made by a human and to prevent spam and abuse. hCaptcha is provided by Intuition Machines, Inc. and may process IP addresses, device and browser characteristics, interaction data and security-related information. Whether analytics cookies must be held until consent is obtained should be configured according to the visitor locations and laws that apply to the website.

We do not sell personal information. Where necessary for the purposes above, we may disclose information to:

- FRIESS GmbH where the German factory’s product-selection, quotation or technical assistance is required;
- the Google, Baidu and hCaptcha services identified in this Policy;
- regulators, courts or law-enforcement authorities where disclosure is legally required; and
- an organisation that lawfully assumes the relevant business and confidentiality obligations in a restructuring, merger or business transfer.
Some providers and FRIESS GmbH may be located outside China, including in Germany and the United States. Where information is processed internationally, we will take measures required by applicable law and limit the information to what is necessary for the relevant purpose.
6. Retention
We retain information only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose and legal obligations:
- enquiry and business correspondence: for 24 months after the last substantive contact; where a customer, contract or support relationship is formed, or continued retention is legally required, information is retained according to the relevant business and legal requirements;
- technical and security logs: for the shortest period reasonably required for security investigations and system operation; and
- analytics data: according to the retention settings in the Google Analytics and Baidu Analytics accounts and the relevant provider policies.
After the applicable period, information is deleted or anonymised, or retained only to the limited extent required by law.
7. Security
We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risks, including HTTPS transmission, access controls, account permissions, anti-spam protection, software updates and backups. No method of Internet transmission or storage can, however, guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights
Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to access, obtain a copy of, correct, supplement or delete personal information; restrict or object to certain processing; withdraw consent; close an account; and request an explanation or submit a complaint. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing performed before withdrawal.
