How the S100 Industrial Oil Skimmer Works

The floating collection tube removes oil and grease from tanks and basins of virtually any size or shape. It reliably reaches oil accumulated in corners, covers a large surface area and supports precise separation of oil from water.

The robust construction of the FRIESS S100 makes it suitable for continuous operation and helps prevent premature wear caused by sand, chips and other particles in the liquid.
All wear-prone components in FRIESS oil skimmers are made from highly wear-resistant ceramic. This significantly reduces maintenance effort and cost. The skimmer body is manufactured from durable, corrosion-resistant stainless steel.
Depending on the liquid viscosity and thickness of the oil layer, the S100 can recover up to 500 litres of oil per hour. Actual performance depends on the operating conditions. Appropriate accessories can further improve the system and tailor it to your requirements.
